Media Servers
Most people when you ask them do not know what a movie or music server is. They can actually be the backbone of the home theater system or a home automation system. How many times have you spent a hour looking through your dvds trying to find something to watch, or got frustrated looking through your CDs to find one to put in? That is a thing of the past, with servers all the content is stored digitally and you can now choose what you are looking for on your remote control or even with a on screen display. This makes looking or searching through your content a breeze and when you take your time and get cover art and movie details it can be quite impressive to your friends and family.
Music Storage
CDs are fine things for listening to and archiving, but they’re bulky. Think of all the shelf space you could free up if that digital music resided on one little hard drive rather than hundreds of boxed-up plastic discs. It’s a commitment, but putting all your music on a computer has advantages besides space savings.
First and foremost, building a media server gives you access to all of your tunes from anywhere in your house. You’ll be able to search for songs and play them back whether you’re in your kitchen, living room or your home office, regardless of where in your home your media server sits. If you’re extra savvy, you can also set up your server to be accessible over the internet.
Wherever you access your music, it can all be indexed and sorted, shuffled and mixed, shared, streamed and more.
Movie Storage

Parents quickly realize that kids have an almost endless capacity to return to their favorite toys, books and videos again and again and again. To save your own sanity and to preserve your DVDs, consider a movie media server. THis will allow your kids to easily access their favorites without having to physically sling discs around.
We use fully legal servers with enterprise grade disks and RAID arrays so that all your content is protected against disk failure.
Movie Streaming – Apple TV
We think that Blu-ray may be the last physical movie disc format ever released. The future is almost certainly in movie streaming via the Internet. Today the Apple TV is an ideal accompaniment to many systems. It provides access to all of your iTunes content. You also have direct access to the iTunes store allowing you to rent or buy many movies in HD directly from your armchair. Apple TV also allows you full access to Netflix. This inexpensive device is compatible with Amx, Crestron, and Control 4.
